Digital Marketing Intern – On-site in Kicukiro

About the role

Mindscape Africa is looking for a motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join its on‑site team in Kicukiro. You will support the planning, execution, and analysis of digital campaigns across social media, email, and other online channels, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced agency environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X.
• Assist with copywriting and prepare simple design briefs for visual assets.
• Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics and prepare regular performance reports.
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform strategy and content ideas.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams, attend internal meetings and contribute ideas to improve engagement and conversions.
• Support ad‑hoc tasks related to ongoing client projects and campaign execution.

Required profile

• Strong interest in digital marketing and a basic understanding of social media marketing.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Organized, proactive and eager to learn in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment.
• Comfortable working on‑site in Kicukiro and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Passion for staying ahead of the latest social media trends.

Required skills

• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X).
• Basic content creation skills for digital channels (short‑form copy, simple design briefs).
