Local Marketing Manager – Rwanda

About the role

Yango is seeking a hands‑on, ambitious marketing specialist to become the Local Marketing Manager for Rwanda. You will own the end‑to‑end execution of campaigns, events and partnerships, ensuring the brand is loud, relevant and culturally aligned in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Drive marketing execution from brief to delivery across social, CRM, offline activations and performance channels.
• Localise Yango’s communications and manage social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp).
• Organise and oversee events and activations for drivers and passengers.
• Represent Yango in partnerships with telecoms, banks, restaurants, influencers and event organisers.
• Report results, competitor activity and local insights to HQ in a structured manner.
• Administer contracts, budgets and promo codes with accuracy.

Required profile

• Approximately 3 years of relevant marketing experience (agency, digital, events or social media).
• Strong project‑management and organisational abilities.
• Proven track record of running social media accounts, events or partnership programmes with measurable results.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the local language.
• Energetic, proactive and resilient in a fast‑paced environment.
