Strategic Partnerships & Financial Institutions Manager

About the role

SelamNow is seeking a well‑connected Strategic Partnerships & Financial Institutions Manager to drive relationship building and business development across Rwanda. You will act as the primary liaison with banks, MFIs, SACCOs, payment providers and fintechs, helping them modernise through SelamNow’s core and digital banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, and heads of Operations, Digital Banking, Risk and Business.
• Identify and qualify opportunities for banking modernisation and digital transformation.
• Develop technology, channel, implementation and ecosystem partnerships.
• Organise executive meetings, product demos and discovery sessions.
• Engage regulators, government agencies and industry associations, representing SelamNow at events.
• Monitor market and regulatory trends and relay insights to leadership and product teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, Information Systems or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in banking, fintech, financial services, partnerships or business development.
• Strong network across banks, MFIs, SACCOs, fintechs, regulators and government institutions in Rwanda.
• Proven track record of managing executive‑level relationships with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of core banking and digital banking platforms such as Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, Finacle, T24 and Mambu.
