Marketing & Sales Specialist – AI Conversational Commerce

About the role

ChatCash is seeking an energetic Marketing & Sales Specialist to help Rwandan merchants transform their messaging apps into automated digital storefronts. You will work on‑site in Kigali, driving merchant acquisition, adoption of AI‑powered tools, and financial inclusion through our conversational commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Pitch and onboard Rwandan SMEs, informal traders, and social sellers using WhatsApp and Instagram.
• Conduct hands‑on demos that showcase AI‑generated product catalogs, voice‑note inventory tracking, and 24/7 automated customer replies.
• Educate business owners on how digital transaction histories can unlock formal credit and banking services.
• Build and nurture relationships with local trade groups and merchant communities to expand ChatCash’s footprint.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales, marketing, or business development experience in Rwanda’s fintech or e‑commerce sector.
• Deep understanding of local retail behavior, social commerce, and mobile‑money ecosystems such as MTN MoMo and Airtel Money.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda.
• Proactive, results‑driven mindset with a passion for empowering small businesses.
