Director of New Partnerships – EMEA

About the role

MASS is looking for a full‑time Director of New Partnerships for the EMEA region, based in our Africa Studio in Kigali, Rwanda. Reporting to the Senior Director of New Partnerships, you will shape the studio’s growth strategy across Africa, Europe and the Middle East, driving market entry and high‑value collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual strategic sourcing plan for EMEA aligned with the global strategic plan.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitive landscape and identify repositioning opportunities.
• Maintain and analyse EMEA pipeline data in the CRM for monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Identify and cultivate upstream partners before RFPs are issued, aiming for sole‑source awards.
• Lead outreach, relationship management and representation at key EMEA events.
• Own interview story structures, pitch frameworks and qualification collateral for the Africa studio.
• Coach senior design leaders through interview preparation, scripting and rehearsals.
• Manage pursuit timelines, submission logistics and coordinate consultant materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership development, business development or strategic sourcing within EMEA markets.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of market intelligence and pipeline management.
• Excellent relationship‑building abilities and experience engaging senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary pursuits and pitch processes.
• Senior‑level communication and coaching skills, especially in high‑stakes interview settings.
