Technical Program Manager – Autonomy Data & Maps

About the role

Zipline is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead Autonomy Data and Map Operations for its autonomous drone fleet. You will own the end‑to‑end production of high‑quality data and maps that enable reliable real‑world drone operations, turning manual workflows into scalable, automated systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own and scale the creation, curation, and delivery of autonomy data and maps.
• Run day‑to‑day map and data operations while ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Partner closely with engineering to design and implement tooling, automation, and workflow redesign.
• Learn current map creation and data production processes end‑to‑end.
• Identify scalability bottlenecks and guide engineering efforts to build future‑proof solutions.
• Translate real‑world operational work into reliable inputs for autonomy development and deployment.
