Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

ChatCash is seeking an energetic Sales and Marketing Specialist to help Rwandan merchants automate sales, process payments, and build formal financial track records through AI‑powered conversational commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire merchants by pitching and onboarding Rwandan SMEs, informal traders, and social sellers on WhatsApp and Instagram.
• Drive adoption by delivering hands‑on demos of AI tools for product catalog creation, inventory tracking via voice notes, and 24/7 automated customer replies.
• Promote financial inclusion by educating business owners on how digital transaction histories can unlock credit and banking services.
• Grow the ecosystem by building strong relationships with local trade groups and merchant communities.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2B sales, marketing, or business development experience in Rwanda’s fintech or e‑commerce sectors.
• Deep understanding of local retail behaviors, social commerce, and mobile‑money ecosystems such as MTN MoMo and Airtel Money.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda.
• Proactive, results‑driven mindset with a genuine passion for empowering small businesses.
