Manager: Talent Linkage & Engagement

About the role

Harambee is seeking a dynamic Manager to lead Talent Linkage & Engagement in Kigali, Rwanda. You will connect skilled youth with sustainable employment opportunities, ensuring the right talent meets the right employer at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across the talent linkage function.
• Build and optimise high‑volume candidate pipelines for timely placement.
• Collaborate with employer‑facing teams to align talent supply with hiring demand.
• Oversee candidate engagement, communication, and placement journeys.
• Use data and insights to improve placement outcomes and employer satisfaction.
• Track and report on candidate, placement, and employment metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing Talent Linkage & Engagement team.
• Champion equitable access to jobs for marginalised youth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related field.
• 2‑3+ years experience in high‑volume recruitment, talent acquisition or workforce placement.
• Proven success in candidate pipelining and measurable hiring outcomes.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Passion for youth development and social impact.
