Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The ideal candidate will partner with the Country Head to deliver people strategies that drive business performance, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. They will provide expert support across talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, learning and development, and succession planning.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Country Head to design and implement people strategies.
• Provide expert support across talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, learning & development, and succession planning.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, driving change initiatives and ensuring HR policy compliance.
• Strengthen organizational culture and develop talent pipelines that support business growth.
• Lead HR projects and leverage people analytics to inform decision‑making.
• Foster a high‑performance, employee‑centric workplace.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development or a related field.
• 5–7 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HRBP, HR Generalist, or HR Manager role.
• Experience in talent management, employee relations, organizational development, recruitment, and workforce planning.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing, FMCG, logistics or industrial sectors.
• Legal right to work in Rwanda and proven understanding of the local business and employment landscape.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Rwandan labour laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and workforce analytics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
