About the role
We are looking for a proactive and organized HR Assistant to join the Human Resources team of a reputable hotel in Kigali. The role supports daily HR operations and contributes to a positive employee experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding and employee orientation processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support attendance, leave management and personnel administration.
- Coordinate staff training and employee engagement activities.
- Prepare HR reports and handle confidential records.
- Provide accurate employee data for payroll preparation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Rwandan labour regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries and offer administrative support to the HR department.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum two years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of Rwandan labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
