About the role
The Finance Manager will support the day‑to‑day execution of general ledger processes, ensuring accurate account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting and discrepancy resolution. This role works closely with internal teams and clients to maintain a robust accounting environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement accounting projects and standard‑operating‑procedure (SOP) audits across all property areas.
- Generate timely financial reports, presentations and analyses for management.
- Compile, code, categorize and verify financial data, including credit‑card ledger balances.
- Verify contracts, perform credit reference checks for direct‑billed groups when required.
- Monitor and document profits, losses, and applicable taxes, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain period‑end close activities and uphold strong internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Provide guidance to other units on accounting and budgeting policies.
Required profile
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (no experience required), OR a 2‑year degree with at least 2 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet reporting deadlines and work collaboratively across departments.
Required skills
- Knowledge of general ledger, account reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with financial spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Understanding of tax monitoring and compliance procedures.
