Facility Manager MEP (m/f)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager specialized in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems to lead the maintenance operations of our facilities in Rwanda. The role combines technical oversight, contract administration and team leadership to ensure reliable and efficient building services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance plans for MEP assets.
• Manage maintenance contracts, budgets and cost control activities.
• Supervise, coordinate and mentor technical teams to deliver high‑quality service.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring expectations are met and issues are resolved promptly.
• Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers and service providers.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Maintenance.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in facilities or maintenance contract management.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong leadership, planning and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Understanding of hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in electrical installations and maintenance.
• Competence with Microsoft Office tools.
