WASH Project Manager – Rwanda

About the role

The WASH Project Manager will coordinate the implementation of water, sanitation and hygiene activities for refugee and host communities in Rwanda, supporting World Vision’s mission to improve child wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and implement WASH projects in line with technical approaches from Health, MININFRA, MINEMA and UNHCR.
• Ensure delivery of WASH services meeting Sphere and other international emergency standards.
• Coordinate with child protection and child wellbeing initiatives to meet minimum standards.
• Communicate and uphold World Vision’s Christian ethos within project activities.

Required profile

• Local applicant with experience in humanitarian WASH projects.
• Commitment to World Vision’s values and Christian ethos.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Sphere standards for WASH in emergency settings.
