Vice President – Investments (Rwanda)

About the role

Enko Capital Rwanda Limited is seeking a Vice President of Investments to lead its private credit team in Kigali. The role combines strategic deal origination, rigorous financial analysis, and portfolio oversight within a fast‑growing, Africa‑focused asset management firm.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in weekly pipeline meetings to evaluate new debt and equity opportunities.
• Build and maintain on‑ground relationships in Rwanda to source high‑growth investments.
• Lead a team of analysts and associates, assigning tasks and reviewing deliverables.
• Create detailed three‑statement financial models and five‑year free cash‑flow forecasts.
• Conduct financial and commercial due diligence, including review of historical statements and on‑site assessments.
• Draft investment memoranda and prepare materials for Investment Committee and Board meetings.
• Oversee portfolio management, risk assessment, and proactive risk‑management discussions.

Required profile

• MBA, advanced finance degree, or CFA designation.
• 7‑10 years of experience in M&A advisory, leveraged finance, private debt, or private equity.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in high‑growth, entrepreneurial environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop junior team members.
