Vice President, Investments

About the role

Enko Capital Rwanda Limited is seeking a Vice President, Investments to lead its private credit investment team in Kigali. The role involves overseeing deal analysis, financial modelling, due diligence and portfolio management while collaborating with global partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts and associates in underwriting private credit investments, including financial modelling and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Origin new debt and equity opportunities in Rwanda through on‑ground relationships and pipeline discussions.
• Prepare high‑quality investment memos, internal committee documents and support Investment Committee and Board meetings.
• Conduct commercial and financial due diligence, oversee legal documentation and manage borrower interactions.
• Drive portfolio risk assessment and proactive risk‑management discussions.

Required profile

• MBA or advanced finance degree; CFA designation preferred.
• 7‑10 years of experience in M&A advisory, leveraged finance, private debt or private equity.
• Strong track record in financial statement analysis, modelling and investment decision‑making.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving and independent work ethic.
