Credit Control Executive

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Credit Control Executive to join our Finance Department in Kigali. The role focuses on managing credit accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments and supporting cash‑flow management for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct timely follow‑ups with clients to ensure prompt payment of outstanding invoices.
• Monitor customer accounts, identify overdue payments and take appropriate action.
• Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions and customer interactions.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding payment terms, balances and collection status.
• Prepare regular reports on credit status, aging analysis and collections performance.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure smooth credit processes.
• Support in maintaining healthy cash flow for the organization.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and procedures.
• Handle customer queries related to billing and account statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and account reconciliation processes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Excellent follow‑up, organizational abilities and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and perform under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with basic financial systems.
