Trainer – Partnerships & Resource Mobilization for Development

About the role

ForElite Training Institute is seeking a part‑time, on‑site Trainer to deliver high‑impact modules on partnerships development, resource mobilization, donor engagement and development financing. The role is based in Kigali City, Rwanda, and targets professional audiences from NGOs, government agencies and multilateral organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prepare training materials, case studies and practical exercises on partnership and financing topics.
• Facilitate interactive workshops, discussions and coaching sessions for diverse professional participants.
• Adapt content to sector trends, participant needs and emerging development financing mechanisms.
• Support curriculum enhancement and contribute to the creation of new industry‑relevant training products.
• Document session outcomes, collaborate with fellow trainers and provide insights to strengthen ForElite’s partnership portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in partnerships development, resource mobilization and development cooperation.
• Proven experience working with donors, NGOs, governments or multilateral organisations.
• Background in project design, fundraising strategy, proposal development and M&E for development programmes.
• Advanced degree or professional certifications in development studies, international relations, public policy, economics or management (preferred).
• Understanding of global development agendas, SDGs and public‑private partnership trends.
