Senior Associate – Entrepreneurial Leaders’ Action Lab (E-LAB)

About the role

The Entrepreneurial Leaders’ Action Lab (E‑LAB) Senior Associate will support the delivery of ALU’s flagship entrepreneurship program in Kigali. Working closely with the Center for Entrepreneurship, the role blends facilitation, coaching, and program coordination to help students develop entrepreneurial mindsets.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate E‑LAB classes, hold weekly office hours, and provide guidance to student teams on their ventures.
• Partner with the Entrepreneurship Manager, Student Venture Program, and Hub Coordinators to integrate entrepreneurial teachings and strengthen ecosystem relationships.
• Support the redesign and implementation of the E‑LAB curriculum in collaboration with the Center for Entrepreneurship.
• Monitor learning management system analytics to identify students needing additional coaching and intervene as required.
• Coordinate events, manage program adoption and completion rates, and oversee social‑media channels for the program.
• Provide administrative support to work‑study students and interns to ensure smooth program delivery.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Business, Education, Innovation, Leadership or a related field.
• Experience facilitating workshops or classes, preferably in an entrepreneurial or educational setting.
• Proven track record of coaching students or teams and mentoring early‑stage ventures.
• Background in program or event coordination, including analysis of feedback and performance data.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict‑resolution and communication abilities to support diverse student groups.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
