Accreditation and Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Lead will drive the development and continuous improvement of ALU’s quality assurance framework. Reporting to the Director, the role supports internal audits, regulatory licensing, and the pursuit of international prestige accreditations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and review the university’s Quality Assurance Framework to align with national and international standards.
• Conduct internal quality audits, produce audit reports, and monitor compliance with external regulatory requirements.
• Prepare self‑study reports, documentation and applications for programme and institutional accreditation.
• Serve as liaison with accrediting bodies, ensuring timely communication and resolution of compliance issues.
• Lead workshops and training sessions on quality improvement methodologies for academic and administrative units.
• Represent the Director on committees, provide guidance on quality‑related queries, and lead cross‑functional improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain university‑wide policies related to quality assurance, assessment and accreditation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a recognised university.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in higher‑education quality assurance, including audit and accreditation processes.
• Proven track record of managing quality‑assurance projects and producing self‑assessment reports.
• Familiarity with higher‑education laws, regulations and international accreditation standards.
