Student Success Lead

About the role

The Academic Student Success Lead will drive high‑quality student experiences and outcomes for ALU‑Rwanda. This role focuses on developing competencies such as language, technical, and research skills, ensuring students thrive academically and personally.

Key responsibilities

• Implement a comprehensive student success plan, set goals, KPIs, and strategies to improve retention, graduation rates and well‑being.
• Align student success initiatives with ALU‑Rwanda’s mission and strategic plan.
• Research best practices in student success and stay informed of emerging trends.
• Collect and analyse data on student demographics, academic performance, progression and engagement to identify barriers.
• Maintain and review the Student Success Dashboard in Salesforce to ensure accurate data for decision‑making.
• Use data‑driven insights to design targeted interventions, workshops and support services.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of student success programmes and recommend continuous improvements.

• Experience in strategic planning and data‑driven decision making.
