Senior Research and Investment Analyst

About the role

The Finacco Hub is seeking a Senior Research and Investment Analyst to join its Kigali team. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will provide deep market, sector and company insights that drive investment decisions and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market, sector and company research to support investment opportunities.
• Analyze financial statements, economic data and build/maintain detailed financial models.
• Prepare investment reports, memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio performance and assess risk‑return profiles of existing assets.
• Identify new investment prospects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to shape advisory strategies.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial analysis, valuation and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in investment research, due diligence and risk assessment.
• Experience producing clear research reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial databases or research platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to explain technical concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; master’s or CFA/FRM preferred.
• Relevant experience in investment analysis, asset management, corporate finance or consulting.
• Commitment to ethical standards and continuous professional development.
