Senior IT Operations Associate

About the role

The Senior IT Operations Associate delivers reliable, secure, and responsive technology services across the ALU campus, acting as the central technical contact for staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for Windows and macOS devices, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other institutional applications via service desk, Slack, Google Meet and phone.
• Identify and automate repetitive IT processes, develop scripts and AI‑assisted workflows, and track their impact on ticket deflection and SLA performance.
• Administer user accounts, groups, permissions, and access rights across cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365/Azure, AWS) and Cisco Meraki network environment.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain campus hardware including laptops, desktops, printers, projectors, interactive screens, and networking equipment.
• Monitor network performance and security alerts, support endpoint security, and coordinate with managed service providers on incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering IT service desk support and automating operational tasks in an enterprise environment.
