Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Zipline is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to own core system‑health analytics products within Systems Engineering. You will turn raw flight data into dashboards, alerts and analyses that inform fleet reliability and safety decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own dashboards, alerting tools and analyses for flight reliability, safety and system‑performance metrics.
• Define and maintain metric definitions and shared warehouse data models for system‑health reporting.
• Write SQL and Python scripts to extract, validate and analyze performance data from raw flight logs.
• Partner with Systems Engineering and cross‑functional teams to monitor hardware, software and operational health.
• Investigate fleet trends, translate findings into inputs for engineering prioritization and safety reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years of data analysis or business intelligence experience, preferably supporting hardware, software or operational systems.
• Strong SQL skills including complex joins, aggregations, window functions, query optimization and debugging on large datasets.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to engineers, operators and senior leadership.
