Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Zipline is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to own core system‑health analytics products that support fleet reliability, safety, and performance. You will work closely with Systems Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and other cross‑functional partners to turn raw flight data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own dashboards, alerting tools, and analyses for flight reliability, safety, and system‑performance metrics.
• Define and maintain metric definitions and shared warehouse data models used for system‑health reporting.
• Write SQL and Python scripts to extract, validate, and analyze performance data from raw flight logs.
• Partner with Systems Engineering and other teams to monitor hardware, software, and operational‑system health.
• Investigate fleet trends and system interactions, translating findings into inputs for engineering prioritization and safety reviews.
• Improve data accessibility and query efficiency across technical systems, enabling dependable self‑service reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis and analytics product ownership.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
