Resource Mobilization and Donor Engagement Specialist

About the role

World Vision, with 75 years of experience, seeks a Resource Mobilization and Donor Engagement Specialist to strengthen funding pipelines and donor relationships across institutional, bilateral, multilateral, UN, foundation, private‑sector and domestic partners. The role will support strategic planning, proposal development and domestic fundraising to advance the organization’s mission for vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic donor engagement, intelligence gathering, competitor mapping and opportunity management to build a robust funding pipeline.
• Develop high‑quality, compliant funding proposals, coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage consortium partnerships.
• Drive domestic resource mobilization through local fundraising initiatives, corporate sponsorships and donor‑facing materials.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in resource mobilization, donor engagement, proposal development and partnership building within international development or non‑profit sectors.
• Master’s degree in International Development, Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy or related field (or equivalent experience with a relevant Bachelor’s degree).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using grant management systems and donor intelligence platforms.
