Quantity Surveyor (m/f)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, prepare surveying sheets, and support economic planning for construction projects in Rwanda. The role involves close collaboration with site engineers and subcontractors to ensure accurate invoicing, workload assessment, and compliance with contract specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue quantity surveying sheets for budgeting, procurement, and staffing.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and verify work completed for correct client invoicing.
• Conduct monthly surveys of completed work and draft reports in line with site engineer requirements.
• Assess actual workload for each task to support contract performance and cost forecasting.
• Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to align cost estimates with project schedules.

Required profile

• Professional training in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of contract and client management.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Planning, organization, and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Competence with AutoCAD.
