Private Sector Engagement Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation, investment and commercial opportunities across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to increase private‑sector involvement in space‑related projects.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to identify commercial opportunities.
• Facilitate matchmaking between companies, entrepreneurs, investors and research institutions.
• Support business development activities, including commercialization pathways and access to finance.
• Provide policy and institutional advice to enhance collaboration between African and EU stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or four additional years of relevant experience if the degree is absent).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, with proven skills in market analysis, business support, matchmaking, commercialization or finance access.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector, particularly within Africa, is highly relevant.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
