Payments & Reconciliation Transformation Lead

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a senior finance professional to lead the transformation of payments and reconciliation processes across its global operations. The role will drive automation, strengthen controls, and partner with technology and treasury teams to build scalable, technology‑enabled finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own strategy and execution for bank reconciliation automation, integrating tools into the ERP system.
• Design and standardise pre‑ and post‑payment vendor reconciliation processes, eliminating duplicate payments and resolving aged balances.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, develop corrective action plans and ensure audit‑ready financial policies and SOPs.
• Provide mentorship, coaching and career development for a team of finance professionals and support recruitment of new talent.
• Act as deputy to Payments & Treasury leadership, leading cross‑functional projects and ensuring operational continuity.

Required profile

• Certified CPA or ACCA finalist (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in payments, reconciliation or treasury functions.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
