Odoo Developer & System Administrator

About the role

Fortico is seeking an Odoo Systems Administrator & Developer to take technical ownership of its ERP platform as it expands across a group of companies in real estate, manufacturing, and hospitality. You will work directly with the founding team and each business unit to design processes, translate them into Odoo, and build a sustainable system for long‑term operations.

Key responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of the Odoo environment across multiple companies and entities.
• Collaborate with the implementation partner during the initial rollout and progressively transition work in‑house.
• Map existing business processes with each unit, then design and configure them in Odoo.
• Develop and customise modules when standard functionality is insufficient.
• Handle day‑to‑day system administration: user roles, access rights, data integrity, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Train colleagues across the group and ensure proper system usage.
• Document configurations and processes to keep the system maintainable as the business grows.

Required profile

• Hands‑on Odoo experience covering both configuration and development.
• A degree in IT, computer science, or a related technical field is a strong plus.
• Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, or previous ERP implementation projects.
• Ability to understand complex operational processes and translate them into system designs.
• Comfortable working closely with multiple business units and the founding team.
