Medical Warehousing & Fulfillment Lead – Africa

About the role

As the Medical Warehousing & Fulfillment Lead for Zipline’s African network, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end operating model that ensures medical products are stored, tracked and dispatched safely and on time. You will work across a growing network of distribution centres, combining strategic design with hands‑on field execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the operating model and site standards for medical warehousing across all African distribution centres.
• Design central standards, processes and controls for inventory accuracy, cold‑chain integrity and auditable fulfillment.
• Spend significant time in the field coaching site teams, troubleshooting root causes and validating operational readiness.
• Partner with Operations, Pharmacy, Regulatory, Product and Engineering teams to embed warehousing as a predictable, scalable part of the delivery system.
• Scale the network from the current 13 centres to 30+, ensuring consistent performance and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical or temperature‑sensitive warehousing and supply‑chain management.
• Ability to translate strategic standards into practical field actions and coach site teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Comfort working across multiple locations in Africa and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
