Logistics Officer

About the role

The Logistics Officer will lead and oversee Ngali Holdings' logistics operations, supporting mining activities through efficient procurement, transportation, inventory management, and distribution of materials and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and transportation of materials, supplies, and equipment to and from mining sites.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate stock records, and manage warehouse storage.
• Prepare logistics and inventory reports, track deliveries, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Control logistics costs, support operational planning, and maintain the Company Asset Register.
• Collaborate with finance on invoices and procurement documentation, and support compliance audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or operational support.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong practical knowledge of SAP Business One for inventory management.
• Warehouse, stores and inventory control expertise.
• Asset management and reconciliation capabilities.
