IT Cluster Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The IT Cluster Manager will oversee the technology landscape for two luxury properties – One&Only Gorilla’s Nest and Nyungwe House. Reporting to property leadership, you will act as both a hands‑on technical expert and a manager of internal and external IT resources, ensuring seamless operations for guests, owners, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse information, evaluate solutions and resolve technical problems.
• Inspect, maintain and monitor all IT equipment, network infrastructure and telecommunications.
• Ensure scheduled backup and recovery processes are executed reliably.
• Manage day‑to‑day IT activities to keep infrastructure and applications functional at all times.
• Maintain hardware, software, license inventories and enforce brand‑standard configurations.
• Control user access, validate approvals and act promptly to mitigate risk.
• Provide internet support, oversee IT‑related training and coordinate with the Global Office IT team.

Required profile

• Hands‑on IT professional with strong hospitality business knowledge.
• Experience managing IT teams, vendors and cross‑functional projects.
• Familiarity with PCI compliance, GDPR requirements and technology decision‑making.
• Ability to work on‑site in a resort environment and collaborate with global IT partners.
