Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will drive talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management and learning initiatives while ensuring compliance with Rwanda labour laws. The role supports the organization’s growth by delivering end‑to‑end HR services and maintaining accurate HR records.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies, manage the full hiring cycle, and coordinate onboarding.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Coordinate performance appraisal processes, set KPIs, and support succession planning.
• Identify training needs, organise learning programmes and monitor their effectiveness.
• Maintain employee records, prepare HR reports, manage leave, payroll inputs and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with Rwanda labour legislation, update HR policies and support audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR management covering recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
• Experience in a manufacturing or corporate environment is a plus.
