HR & HQ Solutions Solution Expert

About the role

Africa Global Logistics (AGL), part of the MSC Group, is recruiting a permanent, full-time HR & HQ Solutions Solution Expert for ASCENS Kigali, its Kigali Shared Service Center. The HR & HQ Solutions department of the IT division supports the digital transformation of functions such as Human Resources, Compliance, Procurement, Legal, QHSE and Finance by optimizing operations, digitizing processes and harmonizing practices. The role reports directly to the HR & HQ Solutions Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the operational maintenance of solutions and deploy new solutions or functionalities within existing ones
• Lead and supervise a team of developers, administrators and internal and external support resources, and guide strategic decisions
• Manage the relationship with the software vendor and write and update the product roadmap
• Write functional and technical specifications for transformation and integration projects and drive continuous improvement of platforms
• Gather and analyze business needs, estimate client requests and prioritize topics for the development team
• Contribute to functional specifications, ensure project delivery from need identification to production release, and standardize production release processes
• Contribute to architecture definition, security (authentication, access rights) and quality monitoring, and define performance indicators

Required profile

• Bac+4/5 (master's level) in IT or an equivalent field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field and 4 years of cumulative professional experience
• Knowledge of the logistics and transport sector is a significant advantage

Required skills

• Business applications (TPRM, HR, Compliance, QHSE)
• Cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Windows Server 2008 and later, SQL Server 2008 and later, IIS 7, SSIS
• Integration tools (API, sFTP) and SSO technologies (OpenID Connect, SAML)
