Digital & Innovation Project Leader (Program Officer, Yiri Innovation Center)

About the role

AGL (Africa Global Logistics), a multimodal logistics operator and part of the MSC Group, is recruiting a Digital & Innovation Project Leader (Program Officer) for its Yiri Innovation Center in Kigali. The center supports the group's digital transformation and partnerships with startups, universities and internal teams. The post is permanent and full time.

Key responsibilities

• Help design support programs (objectives, needs, deliverables, journey, toolkit) and define, plan, monitor and coordinate them, including evaluation mechanisms
• Analyze the needs of beneficiaries such as startup participants, students and internal staff, and suggest improvements
• Help build an evaluation framework for selecting candidates and review applications to qualify them
• Maintain a list of internal and external partners (coaches, mentors, tutors) and coordinate their involvement in sessions
• Contribute to communication plans for the center's programs
• Define onboarding processes, oversee the training plan and collaborate on the event calendar (webinars, hackathons, training sessions, masterclasses)
• Attend meetings and provide tactical support to the center's teams

Required profile

• Master's degree (top business school, engineering school or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience managing innovation programs
• Fluency in English and French
• Strong interest in the digital world and new technologies
• Ability to design and facilitate workshops
• Proactive, independent, organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, entrepreneurial mindset and creativity
