Hotel Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Hotel Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of a high‑end boutique hotel in Kigali. You will ensure seamless guest experiences, efficient coordination across departments, and uphold luxury hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate hotel departments including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and security.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through consistent service excellence.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational schedules effectively.
• Lead staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives and growth.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 + years of experience in hotel operations management, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Deep knowledge of food & beverage operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hotel management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
