Head of Growth and Operations

About the role

As Head of Growth and Operations you will own both the promise to customers and the delivery of solar projects. You will design the sales engine, secure high‑value commercial and industrial clients, and ensure projects are installed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute go‑to‑market and channel strategies, partnering with aggregators such as construction firms, architects and developers.
• Lead the end‑to‑end sales process from lead generation to contract signature for C&I clients.
• Coordinate project fulfillment, translating contracts into work plans for engineering and construction teams and managing the master schedule.
• Oversee the supply‑chain coordinator, aligning procurement with sales forecasts and inventory needs.
• Gather product and market feedback, driving engineering improvements and tracking project profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience launching initiatives, with background in project management, business development and sales operations.
• Ability to understand solar components (kWp, battery cycles, load profiles) and explain them to non‑technical clients.
• Professional fluency in English (required); Kinyarwanda preferred; French a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Strong command of Google Workspace.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Technical knowledge of solar system specifications (kWp, battery cycles, load profiles).

What we offer

• Base salary ranging from RWF 400,000 to RWF 550,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
