Forest Landscape Restoration Program Design Coordinator (Fixed-Term)

About the role

The Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) Program Design Coordinator will support One Acre Fund’s Rwanda initiative by creating practical, farmer‑friendly tools and training materials. This fixed‑term position bridges agroforestry science and field implementation, ensuring that extension activities align with seasonal priorities and program protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and update training curricula for field teams, supporting delivery of learning sessions and incorporating feedback.
• Pilot and test training content with farmers and field staff, refining materials based on field observations.
• Act as the primary link between agroforestry design, field implementation, and program leadership, documenting decisions and coordinating with data and operations teams.
• Develop and improve extension and training materials grounded in field findings.

Required profile

• Strong, field‑oriented professional with experience in agroforestry or related agricultural sectors.
• Proven ability to translate scientific concepts into clear implementation guidance for farmers.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs in a rural context.
