Financial Analyst – FP&A

About the role

The Financial Performance & Reporting team at ALU is building a data‑driven finance function. As a Financial Analyst – FP&A you will turn financial data into strategic insights that support operational and leadership decisions across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and maintain financial planning models, forecasts and variance analyses.
• Support revenue assurance initiatives and monitor key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with Finance Operations to ensure data integrity, reconciliations and month‑end discipline.
• Provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership based on performance trends.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast‑moving, mission‑driven environment is a plus.
