Finance & Investment Associate – Equity‑Based Early‑Stage Role

About the role

We are seeking a Finance & Investment Associate to join EVPulsar at an early stage. This equity‑based position will work directly with the CEO to build the financial foundation of a fast‑growing electric‑mobility infrastructure company operating in East Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the company’s financial model and site‑level unit economics.
• Develop investment cases, cash‑flow forecasts, budgets and long‑term capital strategies.
• Prepare investor presentations, data‑room materials and regular financial updates.
• Research and identify potential investors, funds and financing opportunities, and manage the investor pipeline.
• Support grant applications, project‑finance structures and financing negotiations.
• Conduct market and financial research to inform strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with numbers.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with willingness to own tasks in an early‑stage environment.
• Interest in venture capital, infrastructure or climate finance and electric mobility in Africa.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Financial modelling.
