Country Manager – Healthcare Operations

About the role

AHN is seeking a senior leader to drive the strategic direction and day‑to‑day operations of its four dialysis clinics in Rwanda. Reporting to the group CEO, the Country Manager will own the P&L, ensure clinical excellence, and expand the network.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the country’s operational strategy in line with global standards.
• Own financial performance, including budgeting, cash‑flow management and monthly reporting.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team (operations, medical, clinical excellence, HR, supply chain, finance).
• Develop new clinic sites, manage vendor contracts and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with government, multilateral partners and investors.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience with P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulated healthcare environments and ability to work with government bodies.
• Proven track record in business development and volume growth.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
