Consultant, Global Audit & Advisory

About the role

The Global Audit & Advisory (GAA) Consultant will lead and support audits across domestic and international locations, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and internal controls. This role collaborates closely with finance, compliance, operations, and IT teams to drive process improvements and deliver clear audit findings to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support audit planning, fieldwork, testing, documentation, and reporting for both domestic and international sites.
• Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to ensure effective control design and implementation.
• Execute special projects and ad‑hoc process improvements.
• Participate in annual risk assessments and contribute to the development of a three‑year audit plan.
• Prepare and present formal audit reports, executive summaries, and recommendations to senior management and boards.
• Track open audit issues, follow up on remediation efforts, and ensure timely closure.
• Lead opening meetings with process owners and conduct closing meetings to discuss audit results.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of public accounting audit experience or relevant internal audit experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CIA, or actively working toward one.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare executive‑level presentations.
• Strong time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple assessments simultaneously.
