Bank Reporting & Compliance Manager

About the role

The Bank Reporting & Compliance Manager will own the relationship with partner banks and senior financial stakeholders, ensuring expectations are understood and met. You will lead daily and monthly financial reporting, drive automation, and act as the primary point of contact for all bank‑related financial requirements, audits, and escalations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison with partner banks, building and owning the reporting and compliance process.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with CROs, CFOs, Heads of Retail and other senior bank stakeholders.
• Provide timely updates, address queries, and ensure seamless collaboration between banks, operators and internal teams.
• Coordinate with banks to clarify reporting standards, reconciliation formats and audit protocols.
• Oversee daily General Ledger submissions and reconcile loan account data with wallet and bank statements.
• Monitor daily/monthly disbursement and collection reconciliation status, maintain a dashboard and escalate issues as needed.
• Prepare accurate billing templates and OpCo/engagement‑wise P&L views for both bank and management expectations.
• Act as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, providing required data and ensuring compliance.

Required profile

• 10‑14 years of experience in banking, financial reporting, compliance or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with senior bank executives and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
• Experience leading audit processes and implementing automation for reporting efficiency.
