About the role
Power Resources International Ltd is looking for a hands‑on AI Automation Developer to create the next generation of digital workflows across its mining, refining, trading, finance, procurement, HR, inventory, maintenance, laboratory, and compliance operations in Rwanda. This practical automation role sits at the intersection of Odoo ERP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Copilot/AI agents, and industrial data.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain AI‑enabled workflow automations for mining, refining, procurement, inventory, maintenance, HR, finance, laboratory, trading and compliance processes.
- Develop integrations and automations around Odoo v18 Enterprise modules such as Accounting, Inventory, Procurement, HR, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Projects, Documents, Approvals, Quality and Asset Management.
- Create Microsoft 365‑based workflows using SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse and Copilot Studio.
- Build AI assistants and workflow agents that help staff search knowledge, generate structured reports and capture operational information.
- Integrate systems via APIs, scripts, scheduled jobs, database queries, connectors and low‑code/no‑code platforms.
- Support data capture and reporting for mine‑to‑plant‑to‑refinery operations, including production reporting, maintenance logs, inventory movements, chain‑of‑custody data and QA/QC records.
- Map existing processes, identify inefficiencies and convert manual workflows into controlled digital processes.
- Ensure automation frameworks are secure, reliable, auditable and respect data‑governance, user permissions and document‑control rules.
- Develop scripts, tools and dashboards to improve visibility of operational performance, compliance, procurement, maintenance, finance and HR.
- Test, validate, document and monitor automation solutions for reliability, accuracy, security and usability.
- Provide technical support and training to business users adopting new workflows and AI tools.
Required profile
- Hands‑on developer with experience delivering production‑grade automation solutions.
- Proven ability to work closely with operations, engineering, finance, procurement, HR, compliance and IT teams.
- Strong analytical mindset to map processes, spot inefficiencies and design digital replacements.
- Excellent communication skills to document solutions and train end‑users.
Required skills
- Odoo v18 Enterprise (modules: Accounting, Inventory, Procurement, HR, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Projects, Documents, Approvals, Quality, Asset Management).
- Microsoft 365 suite – SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Copilot Studio.
- API integration, scripting, scheduled jobs and database query experience.
- Low‑code/no‑code automation platforms.
- AI assistant and workflow agent development.
