Business Analytics Assistant Manager

About the role

The Business Analytics Assistant Manager will lead the design and delivery of performance dashboards, scorecards and analytical reports across the Group’s banking operations. You will act as the analytics champion for Payments/Channels, ensuring data‑driven insights support budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards using Power BI, Oracle BI and other BI tools.
• Collect, clean and analyse financial and operational data from ERP, Finacle, Way4 and third‑party sources.
• Create scripts or workflows (SQL, RPA tools) to automate data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Lead scheme profitability appraisals for Visa, Mastercard, CUP and proprietary channels.
• Collaborate with IT and Operations to build reconciliation dashboards for senior leadership.
• Support budgeting and planning through forecasting and subsidiary budget disaggregation.
• Develop GL monitoring dashboards and ensure timely, accurate analytics for budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in business analytics or management reporting.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation systems, ERP and BI tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Degree in Finance, Commerce, IT, Data Science or related field; CPA/ACCA is a plus.
