Director of Group Finance Policies & Reporting

About the role

The Director, Group Finance Policies and Reporting leads the finance function across Inkomoko’s multi‑country operations. Reporting to the CFO, this senior leader designs, harmonises and enforces finance policies, drives process optimisation and ensures financial excellence in line with the organisation’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and continuously improve standardised finance processes such as procure‑to‑pay, budgeting, reporting and internal controls.
• Promote automation and digitalisation of finance workflows across all country offices.
• Maintain the GL ownership matrix and optimise the Chart of Accounts for consolidated group reporting.
• Develop, harmonise and implement finance policies across countries and departments, ensuring compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CFO, collaborating with internal stakeholders, donors and regulators to support growth, compliance and sustainability.
• Lead cross‑functional financial initiatives that enhance scalability, data integrity and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in finance policy development, process optimisation and multi‑country financial governance.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, internal controls and donor compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and external partners.
• Track record of driving automation and digital transformation in finance functions.
