THRIVE Project Manager

About the role

The THRIVE Project Manager will lead the implementation of World Vision Rwanda’s THRIVE initiative, integrating resilience and livelihood components across agricultural and economic development activities. Based in Kigali, the role reports to the Integrated Program Director and works closely with multi‑sectoral teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor quality mechanisms for THRIVE project delivery in agriculture and economic development.
• Support project planning, targeting, monitoring, and impact reporting.
• Champion the rollout of project models across all clusters, ensuring alignment with livelihood strategies.
• Provide technical assistance to the Resilience & Livelihood (R&L) sector and other staff.
• Develop cost‑effective marketing, integration, and business plans, reviewing them quarterly.
• Collaborate with VFR to design attractive products and services.
• Promote THRIVE products through business forums, coaching, and mentorship activities.
• Lead staff training and facilitate community and client capacity‑building.
• Support partners in technical implementation and coordinate cross‑team, multi‑sectoral poverty‑alleviation projects.

Required profile

• Rwandan national with a strong background in project management.
• Demonstrated experience in livelihood, agriculture, or economic development projects.
• Ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and engage partners effectively.
• Commitment to World Vision’s child‑focused, Christian‑based humanitarian mission.
