About the role
The Teller will work under the supervision of the Branch Operations Officer, providing cash and transaction services to cooperative members and ensuring accurate handling of funds.
Key responsibilities
- Process withdrawals, deposits, inter‑branch transfers, and cheque crediting for members.
- Disburse loans, handle foreign exchange, and perform coinage changes.
- Open, fill, discharge, and close tills while maintaining accurate records.
- Cross‑sell cooperative products and assist members with account inquiries.
- Participate in daily closing procedures and ensure fund control.
Required profile
- At least secondary education (A2) in a related field.
- Basic IT literacy, especially with core banking systems (CBS) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong math skills, attention to detail, and a customer‑service orientation.
