Technical Stores and Logistics Manager

About the role

The Manager Technical Stores and Logistics will lead all technical store functions for an aviation client, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of aircraft parts. The role is pivotal for regulatory compliance, AOG recovery, cost reduction, and overall aircraft airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically plan future stores and logistics capacity based on fleet development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with global logistics partners, freight forwarders, and warehouse providers.
• Implement stock verification strategies, annual stock checks, and KPI monitoring.
• Oversee 24/7 operations covering warehousing, receiving, customs clearance, and parts delivery to maintenance.
• Manage import/export logistics, dangerous goods handling, and disposal.
• Control shelf‑life, calibration programs, and surplus stock in coordination with Finance.
• Ensure compliance with QA, RCAA, EASA, FAA, Transport Canada and other regulations.
• Lead digitalisation and modernisation of technical stores processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technical stores and logistics in an aviation environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (EASA, FAA, RCAA, Transport Canada).
• Experience with AOG recovery, stock verification, and warehouse capacity planning.
• Ability to lead 24/7 operational teams and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
