Technical Engineer – Mobile Devices

About the role

The Technical Engineer will provide hardware and software support for Transsion’s mobile phones and smart products. Working on‑site in Kabuga, you will troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure product quality and a positive user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting for mobile devices and smart accessories.
• Conduct diagnostic testing, device testing and performance analysis.
• Document technical findings and create clear reports.
• Collaborate with product, quality assurance and after‑sales teams to improve product reliability.
• Support service centres with firmware updates and technical queries.
• Maintain compliance with technical standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong technical troubleshooting ability for mobile devices and consumer electronics.
• Experience in diagnostic testing and performance data analysis.
• Knowledge of mobile operating systems, firmware updates and basic networking concepts.
• Effective written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics or related field.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kabuga and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
